Machine Requirements

Power Requirements

A 20 Amp dedicated circuit is required to power the machine. The machine will NOT operate properly without it.

Machine Location

The machine must remain indoors or in a shaded outdoor location for the entirety of the event.
There must be a clear flat pathway to roll the the machine to the final location.
The machine must stay on the provided cart for the entirety of the event excluding transportation of the machine

Machine Supervision

There must be a designated person to monitor the mix in the machine to ensure it does not get low. If the mix gets too low the machine could freeze up and require a reset.

Water Access

It is essential to have access to water to run through the machine at the end of the event. This will get all of the excess mix out of the machine.

Transportation - Pickup Option

The machine is just over 200 lbs and will require a truck bed or large SUV for transport. NO TRAILERS please.
If you are transporting in a truck bed, straps are required to secure the machine during transport.
At least two people will be needed to load and unload the machine at the event location. Help will be provided when picking up from one of our locations.

Ice Cream Mix

The ice cream mix is sold at the market rate from your local Fareway store. One half gallon usually runs anywhere from $7-$9 and serves 20 - 3 oz servings.
We use a DELICIOUS liquid vanilla soft serve mix from AE, a Des Moines company!
The mix will be ordered to the Fareway location you provide. You will pickup yourself at Fareway and pay them directly! Remember, the mix needs to be refrigerated, so the mix will be ordered for pickup the week of your event.

Delivery

If you opt to have the machine delivered to your event location, there is a $100 flat setup fee and $1 per mile on two round trips from one of our locations, added to your rental fee.
During peak times, delivery is unavailable outside of 20 miles from one of our locations.
